Kiln Rentals

We use an electric production oxidation kiln from L&L. The interior of the kiln has 10.2 cubic feet of space, and fires up to cone 12 (!!?!).  We can support beadwork, tile, handbuilt , or wheel thrown shapes.  Typically we fire at least 4 times a month (2 bisques, 2 mid-fire glaze) on the weekends.  We run the weekly fires even if the kiln volume is under capacity.  If we're nearing capacity, we will run addtional fires.   

 

The costs for firing with us:

 

• Full Kiln (or any custom fire like Crystal)  $60
• Half-Kiln Shelf Bisque $15
• Half-Kiln Shelf Glaze $25
• By Volume $.03 cubic inch

 

 

All kilns are loaded by our studio technicans only, and use our digital tracking software to monitor each piece through our studio.  

We are not a school - we are a production facility.  Breakage is kept to an absolute minimum.  

 

Delivery of wares to/from our studio to yours can be scheduled for $25/trip.  All wares travel in padded travel cases.
