We fire a shared kiln schedule, so materials need to be compatible and clearly identified.

What to expect

\n Approved materials\n
Use clay bodies and glazes compatible with our high-fire schedule. Share a data sheet if you are unsure.

\n Outside work requirements\n
Outside work is our primary firing client. Pieces must be bone dry, trimmed, and free of wax or dust on the foot.

\n Glaze compatibility\n
No low-fire glazes, lusters, or metallics. Stable glazes only.
\n
\n Test pieces welcome\n
If you are bringing in a new body or glaze, include a test tile so we can verify behavior.
\n
\n Mark the body\n
Label clay body and firing type on each piece so it stays with the right load.
